Clone a Requisition

Users with permission to create new requisitions may choose to clone (copy) an existing requisition and then make any necessary changes to the new requisition. The cloning function is useful when you want to create an exact copy of an existing requisition.

Any previously created requisition can be cloned, regardless of its current status. However, since cloning creates an exact copy of the requisition, dates, contacts, approvers, and drop-down list selection fields must be verified for accuracy. Fields that are out of date and / or inactive selections will be highlighted and can be updated before the requisition is created.

  1. Caution: Field verification occurs only on those fields for which the user has edit rights. Therefore it is possible that a cloned requisition could be saved with invalid questionnaires or approvers if the user who clones the requisition does not have rights to view or edit these fields.

Users must be assigned the Requisitions > Clone permission to complete this task. This permission is assigned in PeopleFluent Recruiting Administration.
