There may be occasions when a users wants to delete a requisition. Users should review their internal processes concerning the removal of job openings before deleting requisitions. If your procedures require that records be kept for all posted job openings, consider canceling the requisition rather than deleting it. Also, it is important to note that if a requisition is deleted, there will be no record of applicants associated with it and you will have a gap in the requisition ID numbers.
You cannot delete a requisition if there are candidates in any of its workflow folders other than the Inbox or Not Selected folders. Any candidates who are not in these two folders must be reassigned before the requisition can be deleted. Additionally, the requisition status must be set to Cancelled before it is deleted. If you delete a requisition whose status is Open , errors will occur in reporting.
Users must be assigned the Requisitions > Delete Requisitions permission to complete this task. This permission is assigned in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal.
