Every requisition has a status in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal. In most cases, the status is Open until the requisition is filled. During implementation, your company may have elected to setup triggers, or automatic events that change a requisition's status based on where candidates are in the hiring process, as reflected by your company’s unique hiring process workflow(s). For example, when a candidate is moved into the Hired folder, the requisition status is automatically updated to Filled.
However, in some cases, you may need to manually change a requisition’s status. For example, you might want to change a requisition’s status to On Hold if recruiting for the requisition has been suspended for a period of time or to Cancelled if the position has been eliminated.
To ensure that the reports generated from your company’s PeopleFluent Recruiting data are correct, it is important that all users assign requisition statuses correctly and consistently. For more information, see Requisition Status Definitions.
The default list of requisition statuses includes:
Open
Pending
Closed
On Hold
Denied
Cancelled
Filled
Users must be assigned the Requisitions > Status and the Workflow > Set Status for Requisition permissions to complete this task. These permissions are assigned in PeopleFluent Recruiting Administration.
To manually change the requisition status
In the Workflow pane select the Requisitions tab and a filter that displays the requisition.
Right-click the desired requisition in the workflow pane.
Select Set Requisition Status from the resulting menu.
Alternatively double-click on the requisition in the Workflow pane. The requisition opens in the Details pane.
Click Change Status at the bottom of the Detail pane.
A new window opens. Select the desired status from the drop-down list.
Click OK.
