Find a Requisition

Filters are used to display all requisitions that meet the selected filter criteria. For large organizations, active recruiters, or mature systems, the number of requisitions returned when using filters, may still be quite large. Rather than scroll through several pages of requisitions, the user can take advantage of the requisition Quick Find function. Quick Find allows the user to enter additional search criteria such as recruiter and hiring manager names, position title, requisition ID, and location.

The search results will return all requisitions that meet the entered search criteria. It is not necessary to enter search criteria in all fields, however only requisitions that meet all entered criteria will be returned.

To find a specific requisition in the workflow pane

  1. Go to the Global Navigation Bar > Requisitions > Requisition Quick Find. The Requisition Quick Find window opens.

You can also select Quick Find from the Current Filters drop-down list on the Workflow pane.

  1. To add recruiters or hiring managers to the Quick Find criteria, do the following:
  1. Click the Add icon next to the Recruiter or Hiring Manager field. The Add Recruiter(s) or Add Hiring Manager(s) window displays.

  2. You may enter the user's last name and click Search.

  3. Click More Criteria to display additional search fields. Enter additional search criteria as required and click Search.

  4. Click Show All to display all users who are assigned the selected role and are associated with a requisition.

  5. Select the check boxes next to the recruiter or hiring manager you wish to add to your search criteria. Your selections are displayed in the Selected People area.

  6. Click OK to add the selected people to your search criteria and return to the Requisition Quick Find window.

  1. If desired, enter values in the Advertising Job Title, Requisition ID, or Location fields. You can enter any portion of the title or ID to narrow the results, however all requisitions containing the partial text in the title or ID will be returned.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Requisitions that meet your search criteria are displayed in the Quick Find window.

  4. Select the desired requisition(s) and click OK or press the Enter key on your keyboard.

  5. The selected requisition(s) will be displayed in the Workflow pane.

  6. Double click on the requisition. It will open in the Details pane.
