Requisitions are created for job openings within your company. The specific fields on a requisition depend on your company’s needs, but requisitions always have a requisition title, a position description, and requisition contacts at a minimum.
There are several permissions associated with creating requisitions and editing panel fields. These role permissions are assigned in PeopleFluent Recruiting Administration. These role permissions include:
The Requisitions > Can Create Requisition permission. This permission allows users to create permissions in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal.
The Recruiter’s Portal > The various panels on requisition screens. > Talent Management Req Information > Show TM Requisition Info Panel permission. This permission must be enabled for users whose company has Internal Mobility enabled.
Internal Mobility allows users of both RMS and the Performance and Succession Talent Management applications to create requisitions in PeopleFluent Recruiting that contains data from Performance and Succession. RMS users can also identify and invite internal candidates in Talent Management for positions created in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal. For more information on inviting internal candidates to apply for a position, see Invite Talent Management Candidates to Apply for a Position in RMS.
For Talent Management users, this integration allows them to initiate the RMS requisition creation process from within Talent Management by selecting options from the Organization Chart or the Primary Navigation Menu. Additionally, RMS users can create a requisition and establish a relationship with an existing Talent Management position. Moreover, Talent Management users can view existing requisitions in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal from the Organization Chart in Talent Management.
For more information on creating requisitions with Internal Mobility enabled, see Create a Requisition (Internal Mobility Users).
Some companies require that a requisition approval process be established when a requisition is created. The approval process determines which panels on the requisition need to be reviewed and approved before the requisition status can be set to “Open" and recruiting efforts can begin. The approval process also determines which PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal users should act as approvers and / or editors to facilitate approval of the requisition. For more information on creating requisitions with an approvals, see Create a Requisition (With Approval).
While some organizations require an approval process when creating requisitions, users can create requisitions without approvals. Except the approval process, the steps to create a requisition without approvals is the same. For more information, see Create a Requisition (Without Approval).
Requisition templates can be used to help users quickly create requisitions. A requisition template contains much of the information needed to create a requisition, thus reducing the amount of data entry required to create a new requisition. For more information, see Create a Requisition from a Template.
