With the appropriate role permissions, users can access the Candidate Search Technology Preview and run a basic keyword search. The Keyword Search allows users to perform a simple candidate search based on specific text in the candidate’s resume or CVs.
If you want to restrict certain users from searching for candidates by location, you should unassign both the Search all fields option and Can edit Geographic Location criteria role permissions in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal. When only the Can edit Geographic Location criteria permission is unassigned, users can still perform a location search by entering a location in the Keyword Search field and selecting the Search All Fields check box.
Users can perform a Boolean search in this field by combining keywords with operators such as AND, NOT, and OR. The following rules apply when a users initiates a keyword search:
Logical operators such as AND, NOT, and OR must be in all caps. For example,
Software AND Engineer.
Tabs are invalid and result in an error if found.
Queries using parenthesis () and quotes ("") are supported. Parenthesis used alone are not supported and generate an error.
Special or wildcard characters (ex. *, ?, #, $) are supported.
