Run an Advanced Candidate Search

Recruiters and users with the appropriate role permissions can run an advanced search on the Legacy Candidate Search area.

To run an advanced candidate search

  1. Go to Primary Navigation Bar > Candidate Search > Legacy Candidate Search.
  2. Click the Advanced Search link.
  3. The Default Search criteria are automatically listed in the criteria table.
  4. Click the Saved Search icon to select a previously saved search.
  5. Review the search parameters listed in the criteria table. Search parameters are divided into one or more groups (such as Candidate Parameters, Geographic Location, Skills, or Source). Select one of the following actions to modify the search parameters:
  1. Add a new group of search parameters:
  1. Click the Add button. The Add / Edit Criteria window opens.
  2. Select the search parameter from the drop-down list.
  3. Complete the remaining detail fields in the window. Fields are determined by the selected parameter.
  4. Click OK.
  5. The selected search parameter will be listed in the search criteria table.
  6. Repeat these steps as needed to add additional search parameters.
  1. Modify a group of search parameters:
  1. Click the Edit icon next to the parameter to be modified.
  2. The Add / Edit Criteria window opens.
  3. Update the parameter fields as necessary. Fields are determined by the selected parameter.
  4. Click OK.
  1. Reset a group of search parameters to the default settings:
  1. Click the Edit icon next to the parameter to be modified.
  2. The Add / Edit Criteria window opens.
  3. Click the Reset button.
  4. Click Yes to confirm the choice.
  5. Click OK.
  1. Delete a group of search parameters:
  1. Click the Delete icon to remove the parameter from the search criteria table.
  2. Click Yes to confirm the choice.
  1. Click Search. Candidate profiles matching the search criteria are displayed on the Candidate List pane.
  2. Click the Save icon to save the search parameter settings for future use.
  1. Enter a Search Name.
  2. Select Public to allow all users to use the search settings. Select Private to save the search settings for your personal use.
  3. Click OK.
