Reference Material: Candidate Search Permissions

The table below lists and defines the permissions associated with candidate search criteria. These permissions are assigned in PeopleFluent Recruiting Portal Administration. Some of the permissions listed below require additional settings. See the PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal online help for additional information.

Can Edit Questionnaire Scoring Criteria

Users can search for candidates based on questionnaire scoring criteria.

Search all fields option

Displays a Search All Fields check box under the Keyword Search text field on the New Candidate Search page. Users can initiate a keyword search on all fields on the main panel of the candidate profile.

Search custom fields

Allows users to add custom search criteria to the New Candidate Search page and run a search.

Search candidate tags

Displays Tags panel on the New Candidate Search page. Users can search for candidates based on their candidate profile tags.

Search candidate qualifications

Displays the Qualifications panel which allows recruiters to run a candidate search based on a specific skill set or specific certifications.

Search profile and referral type

Displays the Profile and Referral Type panel. Users can narrow their search results by profile type (default or requisition), referral type (external or internal candidates), and the age of the candidate profile.

Search requisitions and folders

Displays the Requisitions and Folders panel. Users can narrow their candidate search by requisition and requisition folder.

Can search offer fields

Displays the Offer Information panel. This panel allows recruiters to run a candidate search based on values entered in the fields on the Offer/New Hire panel of the candidate profile. Recruiters can run a search based on the date an offer was sent to a candidate, the date a candidate accepted the offer, and the date post offer information was sent.

Can search internal info fields

Displays the Internal Employee Information panel. This panel allows recruiters and hiring managers to search for internal candidates.

Can search sourcing fields

Displays the Sourcing Information panel. This panel allows recruiters to run a candidate search based on the source of the candidate (online application, PeopleFluent Staffing Agency) or how the candidate was referred to the organization (advertising, employee referral).

 

The labels on Sourcing Information panel may differ from what is on the candidate profile. However, recruiters can determine if they can find results by clicking on the field and looking at the values of parentheses with numbers in them.

Search education fields

Displays Education panel on the New Candidate Search page. Users can search for candidates based on educational background.

Search employment fields

Displays Employment Panel on the New Candidate Search page. Users can search for candidates based on current or previous employers.

Search candidate qualifications

Displays the Qualifications panel on the New Candidate Search page. Users can search for candidates based on a specific skill set or certification.

Access to the Search Section

  • Grants users access to the New Candidate Search and Legacy Candidate Search.

  • Allows users to run a keyword word search on a selected requisition and requisition folder.

Bulk Resume Email

Users can use the Email Selected Resume / CVs button to email a group of selected resumes at one time. If this permission is not selected, the button will still be displayed on the search results Candidate List pane, but it will be grayed out.

Bulk Resume Preview and Print

Users can use the Preview and Print Selected Resume / CVs button to preview and print a group of selected resumes at one time. If this permission is not selected, the button will still be displayed in the search results Candidate List pane, but it will be grayed out.

Can Create / Edit / Delete Public Searches Created by the User

Users can save their search criteria as a Public search. They can also edit and delete public searches that they have created.

Can View / Create / Edit / Delete Private Searches Created by the User

Users can save their search criteria as a Private search. They can also edit and delete private searches that they have created.

Can Edit / Delete Anyone's Public Searches

Users can edit and delete Public searches that were created by any user.

Can Edit Certification Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Full Text Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Geographic Location Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Questionnaire Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Requisition Folders and Filters Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Resume Skills Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Edit Skills Criteria

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Skills

This permission is enabled by default. If it is disabled, RMS will not display this section in the criteria drop-down box when creating an Advanced Search.

Can Search for External Candidates

This permission allows users to search for external candidates.

Can Search for Internal Candidates

This permission allows users to search for internal candidates.

Quick Find Not Searchable Candidates

If enabled, this permission allows users to use the Candidate Quick Find feature to find candidates who have the “Is Searchable” field in their profiles set to No.

Restricted to Requisition Visibility for Candidate Quick Find

By default, users can perform Candidate Quick Find searches; these searches display candidate default profiles only. Enabling this permission will return requisition profiles in the search results. However, the user will only see requisition profiles for candidates based on their level of requisition visibility.
