Recommended and Supported Browsers and Operating Systems

Peoplefluent products are tested prior to release. The recommended and supported operating systems, browsers, and third-party products are summarized below. For more information, see the Peoplefluent Hardware and Software Requirements document posted on the Customer Hub.

Recommended Products

The Recommended category indicates that a significant testing investment has been made to ensure that the designated operating system / browser combination (as shown in the following table) provides the optimum user experience.

• A recommended third-party product is one that has been tested within the current test cycle and deemed to function properly within the limitations of the Systems Integration Test (SIT) for the specific Application Under Test (AUT).
• A recommended environment variable such as an operating system or browser is defined as one that has been tested by Quality Assurance within the current test cycle, and has been deemed to function properly within the requirements and specifications of the AUT.

Supported Products

The Supported category for the Talent Acquisition suite identifies third-party products that have not been tested within the current test cycle, but were recommended for use for a previous product release.

• A supported environmental variable such as an operating system or browser is defined as one that has not been tested within the current test cycle, but rather one that was deemed to function properly within the requirements and specifications of a previous product release.
• Issues will continue to be addressed for defects uncovered against a supported environmental variable, but at a lower priority than those uncovered against an approved environmental variable. As newer versions of third-party products become available, they will be added to the supported list.

Analysis Policy

The analysis phase of each RMS application release requires the creation of a list of third-party product specifications. Third-party products include operating systems, web browsers and email packages. These products will be tested and approved as functional under specified conditions with each new release as it is produced.

While a common industry practice is to approve the current and current minus one versions of these applications, Peoplefluent also weighs the actual use of these products by our customers and adjusts the list accordingly.

During the release’s design phase, the list of third-party products is validated through an analysis of the targeted release features and technology proposed to support those features. If the proposed technology creates problems on previously supported environments, those environments are assessed and potentially could be retired. Client interests are considered in this decision process. If no problems are introduced by new features, then the old third-party products move to the supported list regardless of the time they have been commercially viable. The only exception would be those products no longer supported by their vendors. Peoplefluent cannot support a third-party product once its vendor ceases support.

Recommended and Supported Browsers and Applications

The following table lists the recommended and supported operating systems, browsers, and applications for each Peoplefluent RMS application.

Forms Designer

The Forms Designer requires Internet Explorer 10.0.x or later and the latest versions of Firefox and Google Chrome.

Onboarding Clients

For clients implementing Onboarding, the majority of New Hire Portal content is custom and created by the client. For this reason, Peoplefluent does not supply a list of third-party applications approved or supported for the portal. It should be noted, however, that Peoplefluent does verify New Hire Portal functionality specific to Onboarding tasks using the recommended browsers.

Peoplefluent Mobile Clients

Features released as part of PeopleFluent Mobile are tested using multiple mobile hardware and software combinations to confirm general access and functionality. Peoplefluent does not provide direct support for individual mobile devices or operating systems.

Extended Authentication Integration

Peoplefluent Security and Administration Portal v3.0 introduced extended authentication integration with Talent Management applications including Performance, Succession and Compensation. This extended authentication integration provides a single point of user entry and access for both RMS and Talent Management applications, including the following:

1. Centralized user management ensuring both identity and product access settings for system users administered and governed within the security platform.
2. Unified user authentication and traversal between Talent Management and RMS application components including all RMS portals, Onboarding, Interview Scheduling, Contact Management, Business Intelligence, and Talent Management Applications including Performance, Compensation, Succession and Talent Profiles.
3. Note: The unified platform for extended authentication integration is available to all RMS clients. Talent Management clients who wish to adopt the unified platform must be running version 10.13 or higher.
