Delete a Candidate Attachment

Candidate attachments take the place of hand-written forms or documents that would traditionally be added to a candidate's paper file. There may be times when an attachment must be deleted such as if a duplicate document is attached to a candidate record.

All users with the Candidates > Delete Candidate Documents permission can delete candidate attachments. This permission is assigned in PeopleFluent RMS Administration Portal.

  1. Warning: Attachments are considered part of the official candidate record and can be subpoenaed in the event of litigation. Therefore, client administrators should restrict access to this action.

To delete a candidate attachment

  1. In the Workflow or Candidate List pane, click on the candidate. The candidate record is displayed in the Details pane.
  2. Click the Candidate Info tab and scroll down to the Attachments panel.
  3. Click on the Delete icon next to the attachment to be removed from the candidate record.
  1. Note: Resumes uploaded to a candidate record when the candidate profile was created cannot be deleted.

  1. A dialog box is displayed asking you to confirm the deletion of the attachment.
  2. Click Yes to remove the attached document.
